Sweepings comprises ten works on paper exploring how memory degrades through repetition, distance, and the constant return of images through screens. Beginning with personal photographs and fragments of recollection, Edwards works with oil stick and his hands – pushing, smearing, and dragging across the surface until recognizable forms dissolve into gesture and trace. The resulting paintings linger in the space where details begin to disappear, but feeling remains.
